2 months in...



So February has come to an end, we are now in March, and before we know it it'll be time to round up the first quarter and take stock of how 2013 has gone so far.

How is the new "organisation drive" going? In my case, very well. I've completely adapted to using Translation Office 3000 for everything relating to my business, invoices, jobs, expenses, glossaries, TMs - everything easily accessible from the same interface making life so much easier. I know how much I am earning, who's paid and who hasn't, what jobs are booked in for the coming weeks, what imminent deadlines I am up against - all at the touch of a button. On a personal level, 2013 has got off to a funny old start, leading me to re-address my attitude to life a little and try to "chill out". It's often easier said than done. Which is why my next blog entry is going to be about rest and relaxation, striking a good work-life balance, and keeping sane when you work from home. Any ideas are welcome.


In the meantime, I'm off to finish up today's projects so I can rest and enjoy my family over the weekend :)
